I wanted something new and different Chocolate Frosting and this is such an easy recipe for awesome frosting!!! Quick, easy and yummy. It was perfect for the treats made in a mini cupcake maker that my daughter got for Christmas!
Yield: will frost 1-9 inch round layer cake or 24 cupcakes
In large bowl, cream butter and cocoa together until smooth. Sift vanilla and powdered sugar, stir well. Slowly stream in milk and stir until frosting reaches desired consistency. Scrape sides and whip again until well blended fluffy. Frosts 1-9 or 8 inch round layered cake or 24 cupcakes.
1 cup softened butter
1/2 cup cocoa powder, sifted
5 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3-4 tablespoons milk
