Ingredients:
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1/2 red onion, finely diced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Method
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh into a medium-sized mixing bowl.
- Mash the avocados with a fork until they are mostly smooth with some small chunks remaining.
- Add the diced red onion, diced jalapeno pepper, minced garlic, lime juice, and chopped cilantro to the bowl.
- Mix all the ingredients together until they are well combined.
- Season the guacamole with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips or your favorite Mexican dish.
