Breaded and Fried Meatballs

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • All-purpose flour, for dredging

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together until they are well combined.
  3. Using your hands, roll the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  4. Dredge each meatball in flour until it is fully coated.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the meatballs in the hot oil until they are golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Use a slotted spoon to remove the meatballs from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
